S'poreans spending more time with families: survey

MORE Singaporeans are spending significantly more time with their families, according to the results of a survey by non-profit group Families for Life.

A survey of 1,252 respondents found that the majority spent between six and 12 hours a week with their families.

The same survey conducted last year found that the majority of the respondents spent between two and six hours with their families weekly.

The survey also found that nearly half of those polled were not satisfied with the amount of time they had to spend with their families.

These results were released at the annual Families for Life Celebrations which were held at Universal Studios Singapore yesterday evening.

About 20,000 people showed up at the event, which was attended by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.
