Probation for teen in rooftop vandalism case
A TEEN accused of abetting the rooftop vandalism of a Toa Payoh Housing Board block last year was ordered to undergo 15 months' probation yesterday.
David William Graaskov, 18, pleaded guilty to three of six charges: the theft of four spray cans, as well as criminal trespass at Marina Bay Suites and a construction site in Balestier. Four of his alleged accomplices - all aged 18 - will appear in court tomorrow for their cases to be mentioned.
After Graaskov and the rest allegedly had stolen the spray cans worth $12 from a parked lorry in Lorong 5 in Toa Payoh on May 6 last year, the group agreed to spray the rooftop of Block 85A in Lorong 4.
Graaskov did not take part in the spraying, as he left to catch the last bus home.
