Police raids find 7 unlicensed massage parlours
THE operators of seven massage parlours have been found running their establishments without a valid licence, said the Singapore Police Force (SPF) yesterday. The Straits Times understands that illegal services were also offered at some of the parlours.
SPF said it had been conducting enforcement operations against massage establishments in several areas between January and June. The areas named were Chinatown, Little India, Jalan Besar, Middle Road, Bencoolen Street, Jalan Sultan and Coleman Street. Led by officers from Central Division, the raids targeted parlours which flouted regulations under the Massage Establishments Acts.
