Motorcyclist dies after 'dozing off' along Malaysian expressway
A MAN died in an accident after he apparently nodded off while riding his motorcycle.
The 47-year-old died after he lost control of his vehicle, which hit a road divider, reported Metro Ahad.
The victim was flung onto the metal rails along the Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway by the impact at about 4pm on Saturday.
He died at the scene, due to serious injuries sustained on his body and head.
A traffic police spokesman was quoted as saying that the man had been on his way to supply snacks to sundry shops around Bayan Baru.
"We are not ruling out the possibility that he had dozed off or had experienced a dizzy spell that caused him to lose control of the motorcycle," the spokesman said.
