Look into the future with ST's new e-book

IF YOU want to take a peek into the future, you now can.

The Straits Times yesterday launched the e-book ST100, which looks at what 2014 has in store. The 118-page e-book also highlights the most significant news events and trends of the past year.

It will not be a bore either.

Readers can view interactive features such as videos, photo galleries and pop-up factoids, from Singapore news, such as the country's worst haze, to global headliners, such as the Boston marathon bombings.

Mr Warren Fernandez, editor of The Straits Times, said ST100 is part of the newsroom's continuing push to stay at the forefront of multimedia journalism.

He said: "At the start of a new year, it's timely to look ahead at what might shape the year. Our new our way of helping ST readers get on top of things as we enter 2014."

The e-book, the second one produced by Singapore Press Holdings' English flagship daily The Straits Times, is sponsored by local interior-design firm, Sky Creation. ST's first e-book, Myanmar Sunrise, was launched in April last year.
