Inspiring story of Jason Chee, who lost his legs but will play for S'pore
He made headlines in December 2012, when a horrific accident aboard a warship nearly killed the man from the Republic of Singapore Navy. One year on, without the use of his legs and one arm, Jason Chee is poised to represent Singapore in table tennis at the 7th Asean Para Games this week. He misses his mother, who died in 2011, and he takes far longer now to cook his meals. But he does not feel sorry for himself and has "moved on". That's a sentiment he shares with others, as he sets his own goals ever higher.
