Soon, a phablet offering from HTC
HTC is getting closer to launching its first phablet, if recently leaked photos of the device are anything to go by.
Nowhereelse.fr writer Steve Hammerstoffer has posted some photos on his Twitter account which he said were taken from Chinese microblogging site Weibo.
The photos show the upcoming HTC One Max phablet next to the HTC One.
The HTC One Max is supposed to be the bigger version of the HTC One, with a 5.9-inch LCD display - compared to the latter's 4.7-inch display - and a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 CPU. It also has 2GB of RAM and a new version of Sense with slight improvements, as well as Android 4.3, a 3,300mAh battery, BoomSound, Ultrapixel and BlinkFeed, according to Tablet-News.com.
The HTC One Max looks very similar to the HTC One, with the same curved aluminium rear casing and front-facing speakers on the top and bottom of the device, said technology-news website BGR.
Online reports say that the new device could be released later this month or next month.
