Game on the go easily with these laptops
THE wait for Razer's latest gaming machines is over - its 14-inch second-generation Razer Blade and 17-inch Razer Blade Pro will be available in Singapore from Thursday.
The Razer Blade, touted as the world's thinnest gaming laptop, comes with a 256GB solid-state drive (SSD), while the Razer Blade Pro, also available with a 256GB SSD, is the third iteration of Razer's "ground-breaking ultra-portable laptop".
Measuring 0.66 inches - or 16.8mm - in thickness, the Razer Blade's height is about the same as the new 5-cent coin's diameter, which measures 16.6mm. The laptop weighs 1.8kg.
The Razer Blade Pro, measuring 0.88 inches thick - or 22.4mm - and weighing 2.98kg, is the most portable 17-inch gaming laptop in its class, said Razer. It comes with the Razer Switchblade User Interface.
Both laptops pack more power-per-cubic-inch than any other laptop in the world, said Razer on its website.
The Blade and Blade Pro are powered by a fourth-generation Intel Core processor, the latest Nvidia GeForce GTX 765M GPU.
They come with Dolby Home Theatre v4, featuring immersive audio quality that is custom-tuned to each Razer laptop to deliver a cinematic sound experience, said Razer.
The Blade and Blade Pro feature built-in gaming-grade peripherals, such as the Razer Synapse 2.0 and a fully programmable anti-ghosting keyboard with adjustable backlight.
The Blade (S$2,799) and the Blade Pro (S$3,599) will be available at participating electronics outlets and on Razer's official website.
