WORLD No. 1 Novak Djokovic surpassed Roger Federer as the highest-earning player in ATP Tour history on Sunday after capturing a third consecutive Miami Open crown with a win over Japan's Kei Nishikori.
He pocketed US$1.028 million (S$1.39 million), taking him past Federer as the all-time ATP earnings leader with US$98,199,548.
The Swiss great has won US$97,855,881.

WORLD No. 1 Lydia Ko became the youngest player to win two LPGA major titles when she birdied the par-five 18th to clinch the ANA Inspiration by one stroke in Rancho Mirage, California, on Sunday.
For the 18-year-old South Korean-born Kiwi, who closed with a three-under 69 at the Mission Hills Country Club to finish at 12-under 276, the triumph marked her second successive major title after the Evian Championship last year.

GERMANY'S Nico Rosberg romped to his second win in a row this season for Mercedes on Sunday and ended Formula One champion team-mate Lewis Hamilton's hopes of a third successive Bahrain Grand Prix victory.
Rosberg stretched his lead over Hamilton at the top of the standings to 17 points after two races. The win was the 16th of the German's career.
