FENG EARNS 2 POINTS IN S'PORE'S WIN OVER POLAND
FENG Tianwei led Singapore to a 3-1 preliminary-round win over Poland yesterday at the World Team Table Tennis Championships in Kuala Lumpur to set up a tantalising clash against third seeds Netherlands today.

A LITTLE rest did LeBron James a world of good as the Cleveland star came back to score 33 points in the Cavaliers' 100-96 NBA victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday.

1,500M CHAMP SUSPENDED FOR POSITIVE DRUG TEST
WORLD indoor 1,500m champion Abeba Aregawi has been suspended from Swedish athletics after she tested positive for a banned substance, the national federation said on Monday.
The decision means the Ethiopian-born runner's place in the Swedish team for the Rio Olympics in August is now in doubt.
Having run for Ethiopia at the 2012 London Games, Aregawi began competing for Sweden later that year after being granted citizenship.
