KEFLEZIGHI TO BE OLDEST U.S. OLYMPIC MARATHON RUNNER
MEB Keflezighi has run past his humble beginnings, his marathon opponents and his advanced age as he reaches distances only he can see.
When the Rio Olympics are held in August, Keflezighi, who turns 41 in May, will be the oldest United States Olympic marathon runner in history.
It could be the latest chapter in a career that is finally nearing the finish line.
He says the 2013 US Half Marathon Championship was supposed to be his swan song.

STAN Wawrinka won his ninth straight final with a 6-4, 7-6 (15-13) defeat of Marcos Baghdatis to clinch the Dubai ATP title on Saturday after a "crazy tiebreaker".
The French Open champion from Switzerland claimed the 13th title of his career and second of the season after Chennai, improving to 13-2 this year. The Cypriot, who now stands 0-5 in finals since winning his last title at Sydney in 2010, has lost all six times he has faced Wawrinka.

STEPHEN Curry delivered again for Golden State, hitting a three-pointer from beyond 30ft with 0.6 of a second left on Saturday night to rally the Warriors to a 121-118 overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Curry scored 46 points and tied a National Basketball Association record shared by Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall with his 12th three-pointer of the game.
