HAMILTON SLAMS FIA PROPOSAL FOR HEAVIER CARS
FORMULA One world champion Lewis Hamilton has condemned plans to introduce heavier cars in 2017 and criticised lawmakers for failing to consult drivers.
A list of proposed bodywork changes for 2017, published by the governing FIA on Wednesday, envisaged car weights increasing from 702kg to 722kg, including bigger tyres which accounted for an estimated 5kg.

TIGER Woods tweeted a photo of himself on Wednesday at an indoor swing practice session, saying he is "progressing nicely" but giving no clue when he might return to competition.
Mark Steinberg, Woods' agent, on Monday refuted Twitter reports that the 40-year-old star feels pain when he sits and does not move well, calling the claims "absolutely false".
Woods has not played a US PGA Tour event since last August, when he tied for 10th at the Wyndham Championship.
