WARNING TO KENYA FROM COE
WORLD athletics chief Sebastian Coe says the IAAF will not shirk from its duty to ban Kenya from the Olympics if the country is declared non-compliant by the World Anti-Doping Agency, British media reports said yesterday.
Athletics powerhouses Kenya, who topped the medals table at the 2015 world championships in Beijing, have had more than 40 athletes banned for doping in the past three years.

THE top four seeds at the Dubai Tennis Championships all crashed out in second-round losses on Wednesday, leaving the tournament without a single elite player at the quarter-final stage.

4 CITIES VYING FOR 2024 OLYMPICS
THE race for the 2024 Olympics heated up on Wednesday when the International Olympic Committee confirmed that four cities - Rome, Paris, Budapest and Los Angeles - had submitted the first part of their bids to host the mega-event.
The four potential hosts delivered their vision, concept and strategy plans by Wednesday's deadline, the IOC said.
