Mahrez to run with the Foxes for 4 more years
LEICESTER City winger Riyad Mahrez has ended speculation about his immediate future by signing a new four-year contract with the English Premier League champions.
"Leicester City Football Club is delighted to announce that Riyad Mahrez has signed a new contract, committing his future to the Foxes until June, 2020," the club said on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old Algeria winger was a key figure in the club's astonishing run to the 2015/16 title.
The Foxes defied odds of 5,000:1 to lift the crown, with Mahrez scoring 17 goals and being responsible for 11 assists.
Striker Jamie Vardy and manager Claudio Ranieri have also inked new contracts.
The Foxes lost their opening game in the season 2-1 to Hull City.
