PANCAKE lovers, you are in luck. With Slappy Cakes, brought to you by TungLok Group, you can now make your own pancakes from scratch.

Situated at The Grandstand in Bukit Timah, Slappy Cakes has a make-your-own dining concept with built-in griddles at individual tables, which is sure to thrill kids.

Diners can customise their pancakes by choosing from five different batters: whole grain, buttermilk, peanut butter, zucchini and chocolate.

The family-friendly diner has a wide array of delectable sweet and savoury fixings, including white chocolate chips and pork sausage that can be added to the pancakes.

Pancakes can also be completed with a flourish with toppings like whipped cream and lavender honey.

The pancake batter is priced at $8. The fixings and toppings are priced between $1.50 and $3.

For its kid-friendly concept, Slappy Cakes was awarded "Best In Hands-On Kids Cooking Experience" by magazine Parents World last year.

Those who want something other than pancakes, Slappy Cakes serves an all-day breakfast menu with dishes such as country fried steak ($18.50) and Slappy Benedict ($16.50).
