THE Nikki Beach Experience has landed in Phuket.
Located on the west coast of Thailand's largest island, the Nikki Beach Hotel & Spa Phuket, a partnership between Singapore's Castlewood Group and world-renowned lifestyle brand Nikki Beach, is a stone's throw away from Bangtao Beach, with breathtaking views of the Andaman Sea.
Nikki Beach is touted as the ultimate beach-club concept that combines the elements of entertainment, dining, music, fashion, film and art into one.
The five-star hotel, set to open in the first quarter of next year, has 174 rooms comprising luxury suites, sky villas, a penthouse suite with private pools and sundecks, as well as garden villas with private pools and a garden area.
Investments in the property start from $35,000 and investors can opt for either fixed returns of 5 per cent or variable returns, both paid annually.
The latter will provide returns of up to 18 per cent, based on the average hotel occupancy and the average nightly hotel charge.
Each investment gives the investor a certain number of "leases" into the hotel. A lease means a hotel night, so the leases purchased by investors are automatically leased back to the hotel developer at a pre-agreed rate.
The hotel is slated to be sold under a clear exit strategy in 2020 but investors who do not want to wait until then can choose the short-term exit option, exercisable in 2016.
Twenty-three stakeholder suites will be set aside for investors, who can stay there for a maximum of three nights on a first-come, first-served basis.
Guests can hang out at the hotel's rooftop infinity-edged swimming pool, have a scrumptious meal at any hour of the day at the all-day dining restaurant, or relax at the spa centre.
The spa centre, which comes equipped with five treatment rooms, two saunas and two steam rooms, is available to all guests. Treatments can be customised to suit the individual needs of each guest.
The hotel offers guests complimentary transport between the hotel and the newly opened Nikki Beach Phuket, just a five-minute drive away.
In true glamorous style, the Grand Opening White Party for the beach club was held in March and attended by over 2,000 guests, including Hollywood celebrities Kellan Lutz and Jean-Claude Van Damme.
