    Flooring and bathroom fixtures galore

BUYING a home is a milestone in itself, and the next big step is to furnish it and make it your sanctuary.

For new home owners looking for quality materials to doll up their abodes, they can look to Hafary, a supplier of surfacing and flooring materials, and bathroom ware and fittings.

Hafary has three showrooms: one in Balestier; another in Tradehub21 in Boon Lay Way; and the newest and biggest one in Eunos, called Hafary Gallery, which opened in November.

Hafary Gallery, spanning some 23,000 sq ft, showcases over 4,000 products sourced from around the world.

For surfacing needs, such as kitchen-tops and walls, or flooring materials, there is a wide selection of tiles, mosaic, stone and wood types to choose from.

Customers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to tiles.

Minimalists will like the simple designs and neutral colours offered by tiles from Marazzi and Unicom Starker, both from Italy. The brands have a selection of ceramic and porcelain indoor and outdoor wall, floor and paving tiles.

For those who prefer funky designs, they can look to Vives, a Spanish brand.

Its tiles have motifs that simulate an artisan's work, with patterns that look like paintings. Vives' Vodevil series of tiles, for example, is inspired by the interiors of music halls that showcased entertainment such as acrobatic performances, song and dance routines, as well as animal acts, which were popular in the 20th century.

In terms of bathroom ware, there are many shower heads and taps to choose from at Hafary as well.

These include ones by Italian brand Fima Carlo Frattini, whose products adorn the luxurious Radisson Lazurnaya Hotel and the Rus Resort used for this year's Sochi Winter Olympics.

Another brand to look out for is Kludi. Established in 1926, the German brand's bathroom ware includes a range of products launched in collaboration with popular lifestyle brand Esprit.

    Hafary also holds regular promotions.

Currently, there is a designer bathroom solution package, in which products under Fima Carlo Frattini and German brand Bravat are on sale at a discounted price.

The Hafary Gallery is located at 105 Eunos Avenue 3. Parking is free.
