Fairy tales come alive with a twist at Forum

WHAT if Cinderella had not attended the ball on that fateful night, or if Little Red Riding Hood had decided to visit her grandmother on another day?

Curious parents and kids can head down to Forum The Shopping Mall this weekend to find out at The Funky Fairy Tales Show, even as parents soak in the deals at the Great Singapore Sale (GSS).

The two popular fairy-tale characters will take to the stage with the Queen of Hearts, the Big Bad Wolf and Baby Bear, and lead shoppers on an adventure into the land of nursery rhymes and fantasy with song and dance.

They will also take on roles quite different from what many people have grown to be familiar with.

After the kids have watched the show, they can be a prince or princess for a day by creating their very own crown or tiara at the Fairyland Craft workshop.

Art material will be provided for them to create their works.

Shoppers can also look out for deals at Forum during the GSS.

From June 20, spend $1,500 in three or fewer same-day receipts and redeem a McNeill Ergonomic School Bag worth $270.

Foodies have not been left out too. There are food vouchers from Jade Palace Seafood Restaurant and California Pizza Kitchen up for grabs when you spend at least $500.

Something else to keep shoppers occupied this GSS are the new stores opening at the mall. These include Italian shoe brand Capezio, Japanese restaurant Hana and South Korean kids'-wear store Jo Andrew & Friends.

Women and men can pamper their hair at S.H.S Scalp Studio with custom treatments by scalp experts.
