Don't let itchy skin affect your life
PEOPLE suffering from eczema have to put up with dry skin and red inflamed rashes.
It can have an effect on one's self-esteem. Three out of four women in Britain who suffer from eczema felt they were unattractive, according to health-care firm MSD. This was reported earlier in the year by British lifestyle and news website Female First.
More than 60 per cent of affected British women were also self-conscious at work, while 50 per cent were depressed over their eczema condition.
In Singapore, one in five people suffers from this skin condition. Although not life-threatening, eczema can affect both men and women of all ages.
A recent study by Irish scientists that was published in The Journal Of Allergy And Clinical Immunology in November last year found that weak skin barriers could be a key reason why eczema occurs.
This is because a defective skin barrier allows allergens to penetrate the layers of the skin, resulting in itching.
Ezeque Skin Therapy is a non-steroidal, non-greasy and non-sticky set of products that can help soothe irritated skin.
The products are made from natural ingredients, such as active plant extracts from the crystalline ice plant and phytomucin, both of which are enriched with flavonoids, vitamins and minerals that may help support the skin barrier.
Ezeque Skin Therapy sets are available at a promotional price of $39.90 each ($42.90), with free delivery. Customers can also purchase three sets at the price of $85.80 ($128.70) with free delivery.
Each set comprises one 30ml Mist Spray bottle and one 30ml bottle of cream. Both promotions end on Nov 6.
