Be wowed by Chef Wan at Bedok Mall
IT IS not every day that you get to learn the art of cooking from a renowned chef, so why not do so next Saturday?
That's when celebrity chef Redzuawan Ismail, better known as Chef Wan, will be making an appearance at Bedok Mall.
Famed for his extensive knowledge of Malaysian cuisine, Chef Wan has showcased his culinary skills in China, Australia and parts of Europe, so visitors to the mall can expect to be wowed when they catch him in action.
Watch him whip up a storm at a cooking demonstration, followed by a meet-and-greet session at the Popular Bookstore Atrium Fair.
There, the cooking veteran - who has over 20 years of experience - will sign copies of his newest book, How Food Connects My Whole Family.
Kids won't be left out at Bedok Mall, of course.
Frozen-themed arts and crafts sessions will take place from next Wednesday till Sunday, when kids will be given materials to create their own tiaras and snow globes.
The young ones can also try their hand at re-creating Olaf - the cheeky snowman from the popular animated film - as well as get their hair braided, and faces and arms painted.
Capping the series of activities will be a best-dressed competition at 2pm next Saturday and Sunday, when participants can have a go at giving their best portrayal of the film's protagonists, Princess Elsa and Princess Anna.
Also not to be missed are the numerous discounts available at the shops, as part of the Great Singapore Sale.
These include up to 50 per cent off regular-priced items at health supplement retailer GNC, and a 20 per cent storewide discount at clothing brand Dano from now till June 29.
Osim's uSnooz Neck Pillow is going for $24, or just half the usual price, and Pizza Hut is offering 50 per cent off any of its Signature Series pizzas.
Wait no further - head down to Bedok and check out what the mall has to offer this GSS.
