TOM JONES MAKES AMENDS WITH FLAWLESS SET
This Welsh stalwart, 73, more than made up for his last Singapore outing in 2010, when throat problems caused him to pull the plug after just two songs.
On Sunday, he performed a flawless hour-long set comprising all his biggest hits from What's New Pussycat (1965) to Sex Bomb (1999).
"I love humidity," he proclaimed, referring to the muggy weather. "It's good for my throat."
All is forgiven, Mr Jones.
VIPs SPOTTED PARTYING AT KU DE TA
Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber and his crew partied with guest DJ Latin Prince, whom Bieber has previously worked with, on the 57th floor of Marina Bay Sands at Ku De Ta Club Lounge after the Formula One race on Sunday.
Football superstar David Beckham and F1 Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton arrived together at around 4am. A source told My Paper that they were schmoozing at the VIP corner.
SNOOP HINTS AT SINGAPORE APPEARANCE
Rapper Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion - who was billed as a headliner for the cancelled 1 World Music Festival over the weekend - hinted that he was headed here yesterday afternoon.
On photo-sharing platform Instagram, he posted a picture of himself apparently on an airplane. The caption read: "The take off to Singapore!!"
PARIS HILTON SPINS FOR 500 REVELLERS
Hollywood socialite Paris Hilton joined in the festivities at an after-party held at restaurant ME@OUE on Sunday night.
She was the guest DJ that night, and she belted out dance hits to 500 partygoers for 11/2 hours.
Nothing much has been said about her DJ skills, so we're not too sure if guests were thrilled by her music, or by the fact that she was present in Singapore.
