G-Dragon's limited LP sells out in a day
G-DRAGON has been hotting up the music scene recently and it's no surprise that his latest album is selling like hotcakes.
The limited-edition LP of his second solo album, Coup D'etat, has sold out in South Korea within a day since pre-orders began on Monday, according to YG Entertainment.
The 24-year-old leader of K-pop group BigBang released 8,888 copies - "eight" is G-Dragon's lucky number - even numbering all copies himself.
It's no wonder VIPs (members of BigBang's official fan club) are itching to get their hands on the rapper's latest work.
The limited edition, which is set to be released on Oct 18, comes with lyrics book, badge, mask and various items, such as images and behind cuts from the making of the music video.
G-Dragon is currently in China where he performed at the Shanghai West Bank Music Festival yesterday. The star made a special appearance at Jackie Chan's charity concert in Hangzhou on Monday.
