Sunglasses to fit your face shape
THE creative director of Lumete, Ms Clara Herrara, helps us find eyewear designs to complement different face shapes.
If you have fuller cheeks, opt for frames that will lengthen and slim the look of your face. Look for angular frames and more horizontal styles to sharpen the face, and add extra length with upswept frames.
Go for the Attic Safari (below, $360) for its rectangle-shaped frame.
Be sure not to go for frames with hard angular lines that will accentuate your strong features.
Go with oval or round frames to soften them instead.
Opt for the Vedrina (above, $400), which has a softer, rounder shape.
Add width to the lower part of your face with bigger styles, but avoid anything that sits high and wide.
Go for frames with round edges to soften the broad upper part of your face.
The Sapientia (below, $400), or Attic Safari, will work well on you.
