DONATE TO TYPHOON RELIEF AT DBS ATMs
THOSE who want to support relief efforts in the Philippines can now do so at any of the 1,100 DBS and POSB ATMs located islandwide.
The donations will go to the Red Cross - Haiyan Relief 2013 fund. Customers can also contribute via DBS Internet- and mobile-banking channels.
All staff donations to the Singapore Red Cross will be matched dollar for dollar by DBS, the bank said on Tuesday.
CASINOS FINED FOR LAPSE IN SAFEGUARDS
MARINA Bay Sands and Resorts World Sentosa were fined $337,500 and $190,000 respectively for breaching social safeguards between May 1 and Dec 31 last year.
For instance, they allowed some citizens and permanent residents to enter or remain in the integrated resorts' casinos without valid entry levies, said the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore yesterday.
