MORE TWO-ROOM FLATS FOR SINGLES SOON
ELIGIBLE singles aged 35 and above can expect more two-room flats in non-mature estates to become available for application, after over 500 such flats were launched in July, said National Development Minister Khaw Boon Wan.
About 2,200 of these flats were to be launched between July and year's end. The number next year will jump to 5,000. For now, up to 30 per cent of such flats are set aside for eligible singles.
SMRT ADDS BUSES WITH WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
SMRT will be introducing wheelchair-accessible buses to four more services on Sunday: 178, 853, 904 and 947. This brings the total number of such services to 38.
