$17m TO HELP SMEs UP ENERGY EFFICIENCY
THE Government has set aside $17 million to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) improve their energy efficiency through an initiative developed by Spring Singapore.
Spring said the goal is to help some 300 SMEs achieve at least 10 per cent savings in energy costs over the next three years.
SATA COMMHEALTH GETS NEW CHAIRMAN
SATA CommHealth (formerly Singapore Anti-Tuberculosis Association) has appointed Mr Ang Hao Yao as its new chairman. It has also appointed Dr Tan Chi Chiu and Professor Ho Yew Kee as vice-chairmen.
The changes are in line with the expansion of its community-health and wellness activities.
UNIVERSITIES GALORE IN ONE-DAY FAIR
ALMOST 40 universities and 18 scholarship boards of top employers will be at this year's CATS Recruit Scholarship & Top University Fair from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
The one-day event will be held at Level 3, Suntec Singapore. Admission is free.
