U.S. HUMAN-TRAFFICKING REPORT 'INACCURATE'
THE Singapore Inter-agency Taskforce yesterday said that despite capturing Singapore's efforts against human trafficking, the United States Department of State Trafficking in Persons Report for this year "continues to present inaccuracies and misrepresentations".
It said this arose from the "lack of an objective methodology" to factor in laws and domestic context in other countries different from the US.

THE Government is calling tenders for the provision of government infocomm- technology infrastructure services to allow for a smooth transition before the end of the current contract.
MPA CANCELS LICENCES OF 2 BUNKERING FIRMS
THE Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has cancelled the licences of two bunkering service providers in the Port of Singapore - Golden Lights HS Bunkering and Shing Li Shipping - with effect from yesterday.
This is because they had contravened the terms and conditions of their bunkering licences.
