S. Korean websites hit in cyberattack
THE websites of South Korea's presidential office, the ruling party and major media companies were attacked yesterday morning by hackers who claimed to be from "hacktivist" group Anonymous.
The hackers left messages in red on the website of the presidential office. The messages praised the North Korean leader: "Great leader Kim Jong Un. Kim Jong Un is North Korea's supreme leader."
The attackers also left a message that read: "We Are Anonymous. We Are Legion. We Do Not Forgive. We Do Not Forget. Expect Us."
A photo of President Park Geun Hye was attached to the message.
