The income ceiling for the Special CPF Housing Grant will be raised from $2,250 to $6,500, which will extend the grant benefits to middle-income families.
The grant will also be extended to first-time buyers of four-room flats (standard or premium) in non-mature estates. Previously, it applied only to those buying two-room and three-room standard flats in the non-mature estates.
The income ceiling for singles buying two-room Build-to-Order (BTO) flats will be raised to $3,250 from $2,250 previously.
These new measures will apply from last month's BTO exercise.
