Can't attend NDP? Give tickets away
IN VIEW of the recent spate of scalpers selling their National Day Parade (NDP) tickets, the NDP organising committee is appealing to those who applied successfully for the tickets to give them to family and friends if they cannot attend the parade.
Brigadier-General (BG) Perry Lim, this year's NDP executive-committee chairman, said: "The NDP 2013 exco takes a serious view of the sale and unauthorised distribution of (NDP) preview and NDP tickets. Those found to be involved in such activities will be barred from balloting for three years."
BG Lim added that each year, ticket applications "overwhelmingly exceed the number of seats available, and it is heartening that Singaporeans are eager to be part of the NDP".
