    Bilingual S'pore grads a boon to Japanese firms

    Fashion brand Uniqlo is one of many Japanese companies that have set their sights on hiring Singapore university graduates to power their growing businesses, in efforts to globalise their workforce. Graduates from Singapore are much sought after as many of them are bilingual - their ability to speak Mandarin helps these Japanese firms break into the fast-growing Chinese market.
