Oh My Ghost's Park Bo Young listens to her 'innocent' pals
KOREAN actress Park Bo Young of Oh My Ghost fame said she wanted to stay innocent like her hometown friends in a recent interview in the lead-up to her upcoming movie You Call It Passion.
Talking about her old friends, the 25-year-old said: "I usually listen to what they say (rather than talking). If I say 'my life is tough', it may sound like I am whining because I am doing what I like."
She said she doesn't want to complain in front of her friends struggling to find jobs or survive their workplaces - like many ordinary young Koreans.
Park said she is going to invite her friends to the preview of her movie, adding: "They are waiting for the event. There are some friends who still stay in the country and they are very innocent. Whenever I see them, I tell myself not to lose my innocence."
She hails from a small county - Jeungpyeong County - located in the centre of South Korea.
You Call It Passion, which premieres in South Korea on Nov 25, features the story of a rookie entertainment reporter struggling in a workplace under a bad boss.
