WINEMAKERS' TABLE DINNER
Meet winemakers and sample 60 wines at Wine Fiesta's opening night.
Featured wines include CVNE Imperial Gran Reserva 2004, Vietti Barolo Lazzarito 2010 and Jean Marc Brocard Chablis Domaine Ste Claire 1998 Magnum.
The wines will be accompanied by a tennis-inspired buffet by The Fullerton Bay Hotel, in conjunction with the BNP Paribas Women's Tennis Association Finals.
Menu items include mini tennis ball saffron lobster aranchini, seared Hokkaido scallops with pea puree and caviar beurre blanc, seafood paella, grilled rosemary lamb rump, as well as pasta and carving stations. Glam Slam desserts include tiramisu, New York cheesecake and strawberry shortcake.

Wood Vs Steel
Joel B. Payne, chief editor of the Gault Millau German Wine Guide, will discuss the differences between wines aged in wood and those aged in stainless steel.
He will also be speaking at other masterclasses, with topics such as German and Austrian wines (Oct 25, 3.15pm) and different Pinot varieties (Oct 26, 5.30pm).

The Iconic Red Wines From France
Francois Theinpont, owner of Thienpont Family Wines, which was established in Bordeaux in the 1920s, will share his expertise on French red wines. Some estates owned by the family include Le Pin and Chateau Puygueraud.

There is more to rose wine than its pretty, pale-pink hue. Sake Weima of Aix winery in Provence, along with other speakers, will discuss rose wine from all over the world.
