LG's G5 may be its first phone with metal body
LG'S next flagship smartphone may have a full-metal unibody construction, according to the latest rumour coming out of South Korea. If true, this would be the first of LG's flagship smartphones with a metal body, after four generations of plastic handsets.
According to Korean website etnews, industry insiders have confirmed that LG Electronics has decided to use metal cases on its new smartphone, the G5.
The G5 is rumoured to be launched early next year, possibly close to the Mobile World Congress next year in Barcelona, which would be around the same time as the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S7.
The S7 is said to come in two different display sizes and could sport a pressure-sensitive display. Apple's new iPhones this year have screens that are pressure-sensitive.
