Lee lost 10kg and locks for Assassination role
SOUTH Korean actor Lee Jung Jae, the heart-throb from 2000's Il Mare, revealed that he suffered hair loss while preparing for the movie Assassination.
The movie, which also stars My Sassy Girl (2001) actress Jun Ji Hyun, tells the story of the people fighting against Japan's colonial rule of Korea in the first half of the 20th century.
In an interview with a local news outlet, Lee said he had to lose so much muscle mass to play the role of an older man that his weight went from 78kg to 68kg.
According to Lee, the dramatic change in weight caused temporary hair loss.
