Check out Google Glass and new car cameras

HYPED up over the Google Glass eyewear computer or Microsoft's Xbox One game console, both of which aren't officially available here yet?

You can try them out at this year's PC Show.

The four-day consumer electronics fair, which starts today at the Singapore Expo, will also showcase other new gadgets.

These include the 5.1-inch Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone and the Canon Powershot SX700 HS compact camera, which has a 30X zoom lens.

Visitors looking for in-car cameras to record accidents that their vehicles might get into have new gadget options at the PC Show.

For instance, the Marbella QB5 and QB6 cameras are being launched at the fair.

The QB5 is a compact car camera that has a 135-degree lens paired with a 1.41-inch LCD display to view the 720p videos recorded.

For those who prefer a larger device, there's the Marbella QB6. It has a 170-degree wide-angle lens that can record 1080p videos, along with a 3-inch LCD screen.

Besides taking videos at the front of a vehicle, the QB6 has a rear camera unit as well.

Both the QB5 and QB6 have motion sensors, so a video recording can be made when objects move in front of them.

The QB5 is selling for $129 - $40 off the usual price - while the QB6 is going for $299, $100 off the usual price.

Freebies such as memory cards will also be given to the first 50 customers daily.

The PC Show is on at Singapore Expo halls 5 and 6, until Sunday, from 12pm to 9pm daily. Admission is free.
