Boost your home network with these
Sineoji 600Mbps HomePlug AV2 and 500Mbps HomePlug AV Wireless Range Extender
HOMEPLUG is a generic name for a device that makes use of existing electrical wiring to support a network. It is a useful option for those who want to avoid additional wiring to extend a network, and for homes that have many Wi-Fi blind spots.
Sineoji, the homeplug specialist from Korea, has been mounting a stiff challenge to Taiwan's Aztech, previously the dominant player. Its two new homeplug products, the PL500EW 500Mbps 2-port Wireless Range Extender and the PL600EPG 600Mbps HomePlug AV2, underline Sineoji's determination to become the market leader.
By plugging the PL500EW into any existing homeplug network, the user can extend his wireless-access range and get wired Ethernet access via two ports.
With the PL600EPG, users can achieve extended network access at speeds of up to 600Mbps. As this is a plug-in device, there is provision for a noise-filtered pass-through feature, which enhances the homeplug network's efficiency and speed.
To prevent unauthorised access to the homeplug network, one-button Wi-Fi Protected Set-up is available in both the PL500EW and PL600EPG. This makes them truly plug-and-play.
PL500EW ($79), PL600EPG ($73). A pair of each device is required if there is no existing homeplug network.
