Big Bang and iKON ready to roll
K-POP hit idol group Big Bang will make a comeback in the coming months, almost two years since they released their album Still Alive, a local media outlet said on Wednesday.
Yang Hyun Seok, chief executive of YG Entertainment, confirmed in a recent interview that Big Bang are putting the finishing touches on their new album.
Big Bang fans have been waiting for a new album since early last year, when the five members had a concert tour of Japanese cities.
Mr Yang also confirmed the launch of seven-member boy band iKON.
iKON are set to debut six months after their formation as part of YG's Mix & Match weekly boy-band survival programme.
In the TV show, iKON members competed in cut-throat song and dance battles.
The iKON members have already attracted attention across Asia, thanks to the online voting system for local and foreign fans.
