Crystal Jade to serve up more outlets in Asia
CRYSTAL Jade Culinary Concept Holdings on Monday announced plans to open more restaurants in Asia.
The food and beverage restaurant group, better known as Crystal Jade, has confirmed launching at least 14 new restaurants with franchisee partners by the end of the year.
These restaurants will be located across nine cities in China, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Myanmar, Vietnam and South Korea.
Crystal Jade will begin serving its fare in the Cambodian city of Siem Reap by end-June.
Before that, customers at Shanghai Disneyland and at Beijing Capital International Airport Terminal 3 will get to tuck into its offerings first.
"We are excited to welcome guests at Crystal Jade Garden of Dreams in Disneytown, Shanghai Disneyland, when it opens in early June. With a forecast of 10 million visitors a year, we hope to impress the locals and foreign visitors alike with Crystal Jade's distinct brand of service and extensive menu offering," said James Quek, chief operating officer of Crystal Jade.
Following these openings in June, another outlet will start at Hong Kong's Wanchai district the next month. The same month of July will also have three outlets begin operations in Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City.
In South Korea, apart from the two restaurants launched earlier this year, the group will add a restaurant in each of the three cities of Gimhae, Seoul and Busan. These will bring Crystal Jade's total outlets in the country to 22.
Rounding up the tally, the group's first restaurant in Myanmar is expected to open in the third quarter of this year at the new Yangon International Airport. Another one will start operating in Yangon later this year.
